Brenda studied Veterinary Hospital
Management at Arizona State University and has worked in the veterinary profession
for more than 16 years. She is certified not only as a CVT, and a member of the
American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians, but also as a Patient Care Technician.
Pets: A Yorkie named Maggie, 3 cats, and 2 1/2 horses (a Quarterhorse
named Sunday, a Thoroughbred named Lunas and a miniature horse named Rebel. She
also has four desert tortoises.
Kim helped Dr. Schmidt open Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic back in 2005 and was invaluable
in setting up the practice. Kim graduated from North Dakota State University and
is a graduate of Pima Medical Institute. With 14 years of experience, she became
a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1999 and is a member of the American Society
of Veterinary Dental Technicians (ASVDT). She also received advanced training in
veterinary dentistry, radiography, pain management, pet behavior therapy, anesthesia
and veterinary dermatology.
Pets: Reagan- a 3yr old Shepherd mix; Toy- an 8 yr old male Brussels
Griffon, and Millie a 15 year old German Short Haired pointer. Kim is also involved
with feral cat rescue.
A graduate of Pima Medical Institute, Jen has five years of experience in the veterinary
field. She is a member of the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians
(ASVDT) and has had advanced training in anesthesia, veterinary dentistry and dental
radiography.
Pets: Morty, a Siamese mix, Sherman, a 2 year old Siamese mix,
Jade, a 14 year old domestic short hair and Gracie, a 3 year old Rottweiler
Abby has four years of experience in the field and has previously worked in a veterinary
dermatology office as well as a general practice.
Pets: A Doberman named Leo and a Pit Bull named Holly. Abby has
also worked with professional dog trainers and showed dogs in the conformation ring.
Currently she is doing foster care for Maricopa County Animal Control.
Cynthia has been with Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic since it first opened its doors
back in May of 2005. She started her career as a receptionist but has also received
training to work as a veterinary assistant.
Pets: 2 dogs, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Roxie and a border collie
mix named Wicca, a long haired cat named Smudge, 2 rats and a turtle
Kendra has been working at Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic since she graduated from
Apollo College in 2006. She has already become a member of ASVDT, (American Society
of Veterinary Dental Technicians) and has had advanced training in anesthesia.
Pets: 2 dogs; Bear the Akita, and Keysha, a German Shepherd mix,
as well as 4 cats, Cotton, Butterscotch, Smokey and Junior.
Currently enrolled at Mesa Community College and studying for her Bachelors Degree
in Business, Gabby graduated from Pima Medical Institute. She completed a 3-month
externship at Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic prior to being hired.
Pets: Gabby has three little dogs; 2 year old Carmello, a Chihuahua/Pomeranian;
Baby Boy, a 10 year old Pomeranian/poodle, and Peewee, a 5 year old Chihuahua
Jennifer graduated from Robert Morris College in Chicago, Illinois and has 7 years
of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
Pets: Two spoiled dogs, Bogie the Shih Tzu and Trina the Mini -Schnauzer
Linda attended Orange County Community College in New York. She worked as a veterinary
receptionist for 5 years before also becoming our bookkeeper.
Pets: A Border Collie named Spanky and a Bull Terrier mix named
Ivy
Currently pursuing degrees in Elementary Education and Equestrian Science, Laura
has more than 3 years of experience in the veterinary field.
Pets: 1 year old Labrador retriever named Millie and a 14 year
old Mustang named Johnny Cash. Laura enjoys horseback riding and plans to take up
jumping.
Mo graduated to the treatment room chair and is now pursuing advanced studies in
sleeping. His motto is "Do Nothing Then Rest."
Currently pursuing a good glucose level, Ron is a diabetic who enjoys pressing the
Easy button and giving high-fives.
