Kim Maccrone - Certified Veterinary Technician Kim helped Dr. Schmidt open Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic back in 2005 and was invaluable in setting up the practice. Kim graduated from North Dakota State University and is a graduate of Pima Medical Institute. With over 17 years of experience, she became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1999 and is a member of the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians (ASVDT). She also received advanced training in veterinary dentistry, radiography, pain management, pet behavior therapy, anesthesia and veterinary dermatology.

Kim is the owner of “Vetek Chic on Wheels”, a service that provides in-home nursing care for ill pets and pets recuperating from surgery. She also founded the Az Pet Professionals, a Networkgroup of Valley Professional Pet based Businesses. You can find links to each website under the "Links" tab. 

Pets: Reagan- a Shepherd mix; Toy- a Brussels Griffon, Duncan Monkey the Tabby, and So Low the Munchkin cat.


Jen Russell - Veterinary Assistant A graduate of Pima Medical Institute, Jen started working at Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic just a few months after the opening. With over seven years of experience in the veterinary field, she is a member of the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians (ASVDT) and has had advanced training in anesthesia, veterinary dentistry and dental radiography.

Pets: Sherman, two Siamese mixes, Jade, a domestic short hair and Gracie, a Rottweiler. In loving Memory of Morty, our very special friend.


Kim Telford- Veterinary Assistant Kim graduated from Apollo College's Veterinary Assistant Program and completed her Externship at AVS Specialty Hospital in Mesa. Previously, she worked in the human dentistry field for the last 15 years.  
Pets: 1 dog, Peanut, a Pomeranian Mix, And 7 chickens.


Christy Parker - Certified Veterinary Technician Christy joined Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic in July of 2009. She has 17 years of experience in the veterinary field and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 of those years. A graduate of Pima Medical Institute, Christy is also a certified veterinary dental technician. Pets- two dogs, a Schipperke named Zeke and a Jack Russell terrier named Riblet (Ribby) as well as four cats, Supermoo, Ping, Moose and Syd


Karen Watson- Veterinary AssistantKaren graduated from Pima Medical Institute's Veterinary Assistant Program and has been working part time at Johnson Ranch for several months. Prior to this new career in veterinary medicine, Karen had been a Radiology Technician in the human field for 16 years. Pets: two Cocker Spaniels, Oreo and Bailey.

Cynthia Aguinaga - Veterinary Assistant Cynthia has been with Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic since it first opened its doors back in May of 2005. She started her career as a receptionist but has also received training to work as a veterinary assistant.

Pets: 2 dogs, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Roxie and a Border collie mix named Wicca, a long haired cat named Smudge, and a turtle


Kendra Haynes - Veterinary Assistant Kendra has been working at Johnson Ranch Animal Clinic since she graduated from Apollo College in 2006. She has already become a member of ASVDT, the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians and has had advanced training in anesthesia.

Pets: 2 dogs; Bear the Akita, and Keysha, a German Shepherd mix, as well as 4 cats, Cotton, Butterscotch, Smokey and Junior.


Linda Mundt - Receptionist/Bookkeeper Linda attended Orange County Community College in New York. She worked as a veterinary receptionist for 5 years before also becoming our bookkeeper.

Pets: A Border Collie named Spanky and Hunter/Jumper horse named Jewel.


Tasha Carver - Receptionist With over 10 years of front office experience, Tasha also worked as a kennel tech at veterinary clinics in Sun City and Tempe.

Pets: A male blue Seal Point Siamese cat named “Max”


Mo - Clinic Cat Mo graduated to the treatment room chair and is now pursuing advanced studies in sleeping. His motto is “Do Nothing Then Rest”


Ron - Clinic Cat Currently pursuing a good glucose level, Ron is a diabetic who enjoys pressing the “Easy” button and giving “high-fives”
